A must-have guide to the all-important and often neglected first 12 weeks after your baby is born by midwife, mumma and certified sleep consultant Amelia Lamont aka The Midwife Mumma.

In her authentic and down-to-earth voice, Amelia will guide new mums through this time of great physical and emotional change.

After all the build-up and focus on pregnancy and birth, the fourth trimester is often swept aside. However, as every new mum knows, the first twelve weeks after birth is possibly the most challenging and important part of becoming a mum.

Topics include-
- The birth - this is the very start of the fourth trimester
- Birth trauma
- The first day/night at home
- Milk, milk and lots of milk - focus on all different methods of feeding
- The postpartum body
- The wind-down routine, from bathing to feeding
- Health checks
- The importance of sleep and how to get it
- Mental health and finding your groove

Honest and unfiltered, Amelia's professional and personal experience will support mums with humour and heart as they adjust to life as a mum. Amelia Lamont is a midwife, lactation and sleep consultant, and entrepreneur. Her clients describe her as 'out there and real' and a 'sleep and baby whisperer.' Amelia began her career in midwifery 10 years ago and soon identified a need for supporting new families and babies beyond the hospital, into the fourth trimester. After attending a sleep school with her first child, she went on to help thousands of families as a sleep consultant and later became a certified IBCLC (International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners) consultant. Her passion lies in easing the challenges of pregnancy and ensuring families are well-informed about birth, the postnatal period, sleep, and beyond.

When she's not sharing her expertise with clients or chasing her kids in and out of the car, Amelia is active on her Instagram account @themidwifemumma. From the highs to the lows of motherhood, Amelia has no filter when sharing her life with her audience, and she wouldn't have it any other way.
