Search Tips
In order to get more accurate results, our search has the following Google-Type search functionality:
+
If you use '+' in front of a word, then that word will be present in the search results.
ex: Harry +Potter will return results with the word 'Potter'.
-
If you use '-' in front of a word, then that word will be absent in the search results.
ex: Harry -Potter will return results without the word 'Potter'.
AND
If you use 'AND' between two words, then both of those words will be present in the search results.
ex: Harry AND Potter will return results with both 'Harry' and 'Potter'.
OR
If you use 'OR' between two words, then bth of those words may or may not be present in the search results.
ex: Harry OR Potter will return results with just 'Harry', results with just 'Potter' and results with both 'Harry' and 'Potter'.
NOT
If you use 'NOT' before a word, then that word will be absent in the search results.
ex: Harry NOT Potter will return results without the word 'Potter'.
""
Placing '""' around words will perform a phrase search. The search results will contain those words in that order.
ex: "Harry Potter" will return any results with 'Harry Potter' in them, but not 'Potter Harry'.
*
Using '*' in a word will perform a wildcard search. The '*' signifies any number of characters. Searches can not start with a wildcard.
ex: Pot*er will return results with words starting with 'Pot' and ending in 'er'. In this case, 'Potter' will be a match.
Delivery & Returns Policy
Delivery
Within Australia
Orders will be dispatched within 2 business days of receipt. We use Australia Post prepaid satchels, and will supply you with a tracking number in your Order Confirmation email. If you have not received a tracking number please contact us with your receipt Transaction ID, as we do keep a record of these.
Please allow 3-5 working days for your parcel to arrive.
If you require express postage, we can use an Australia Post Express prepaid satchel. This will be charged at the cost of the satchel. Please contact us directly before placing an order if you wish to arrange express shipping.
International Orders
For international orders freight is charged at the Australia Post rate and depends on size, weight and destination. We will pack the order and take it to our local Australia Post Office for price quotes for both air and sea freight for you to choose from.
Returns, Refunds and Exchanges
How To Return An Item
Your item must be in its original unused condition to be returned unless there is a manufacturer defect, or it was received damaged. You must return the item within 30 days of your purchase.
1. Please email info@paperchainbookstore.com.au to request a refund or an exchange.
For damaged, mis-printed or mis-bound items, please attached a photograph of the damage or printing/binding error and we will send you an Australia Post prepaid satchel in which to return the item.
All other returns must be sent back at your expense.

Include in your package a signed letter stating the reason for your return and the original receipt. Funds will be refunded once we receive the item.
Items that have signs of use will not be accepted for return or exchange unless a printing or binding error has been detected.
Exchanges
If the item in question is in as-new condition, you may exchange it within 30 days of purchase. Please email us at info@paperchainbookstore.com.au to arrange an exchange. Return postage will be at your expense. Our standard postage rate of $10.00 will also be applied to the replacement item.
